FAMILY-RUN VETERINARY CARE · EXTON, PA
They're Family. We Treat Them That Way.
From first-time puppy shots to gentle senior care, we're the vet your pets are actually happy to see.
You'd do anything for them, and they trust you completely. So whether it's a yearly checkup or something just seems off, you want them in hands that feel like home. We slow down. We learn their quirks. And we'll never make you feel silly for calling about something small.
A real person answers. Open weekdays until 6:30 PM and Saturday mornings.

HOW WE CARE FOR YOUR PET
Care for Every Chapter of Their Life
Every pet's story is different. Whether it's a playful new puppy, a cat who's stopped eating, or a senior who's slowing down, we'll tell you what they actually need and what can wait.

Wellness Exams & Vaccines
Yearly checkups that catch the small stuff early, so they stay their happy, healthy selves.

Sick Visits
Not eating? Limping? Just not themselves? You know your pet best. We'll see them as soon as we can.

Surgery
Spays, neuters and soft-tissue procedures, plus a call to let you know they're waking up okay.

Dental Care
Healthy teeth mean happier mealtimes and fresher kisses.

Puppy & Kitten Care
All the first-year shots and your new-pet questions. Nothing is too small.

Senior Pet Care
Gentle care, comfort and honest guidance as your best friend ages.
WHY FAMILIES STAY
The Vet They'll Grow Up With
Puppies who came in for their first shots are now gray-muzzled seniors who still trot through our door. Kittens have grown into aristocratic, beloved old cats we know by their purr. That's what happens when you stick around. Your pet isn't an appointment to us. They're one of the faces we get to watch grow up.

MEET YOUR VET
Meet Dr. Helen McCahon, DVM
Dr. McCahon has been caring for animals for more than 30 years. She earned her veterinary degree from Mississippi State University in 1992, and her experience covers animals large and small.
Today she leads Colebrook Manor, carrying on the family practice her father started. Outside the clinic, she volunteers with Chester County 4-H livestock clubs, and she loves teaching the next generation of animal lovers.
Nothing gets rushed when Dr. McCahon examines your pet.

OUR HOME
A Home with History.
A Heart with Pets.
Our clinic lives in Colebrook Manor, a stone house built around 1840 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, complete with a historic barn and kennels.
Inside, it's all modern veterinary care. But we think pets, and their people, can feel the difference when a vet's office feels more like a home.

Every tail wag at the door and every purr on the exam table is why we do this. If it's been a while since their last checkup, now's a great time to come say hello. Give us a call. A real person answers, and we'll take it from there.
